The Diagnostic Imaging
Department is undergoing major improvements with the addition of new
high quality ultrasound equipment and expansion into new areas in
medical imaging.
Renovations are ongoing for the department to improve the facility
for better access, functionality and ambiance for patient comfort
and to provide better service to our patients.
A full range of services is available by caring and dedicated staff,
technologists and Radiologists.

All our Ultrasound technologists are Board
certified and our head sonographer is a specialist in Obstetrics
having trained and worked in the finest, highest obstetrics
facilities in Europe.
All x-ray technologists are registered and very experienced.

Cottage Hospital Uxbridge, and Staff Radiologist WGH, APAH and OGH.
Each Radiologist has training in
sub-specialties including Mammography.

▪ Registered Vascular Technologist, has intense training in
Cardiovascular Imaging including Echocardiography.

All the Radiologists actively extend their medical training
attending courses in many disciplines. All were trained in Canada
(4 at St. Michael's Hospital and University of Toronto, and 1 at
Royal Victoria Hospital, London)
Interpretation of all studies is by the highly experienced team of
Diagnostic Radiologists (all are certified by the Royal College of
Physicians and Surgeons of Canada) with over 150 man years of
dedicated service to excellent patient care in both hospital and
clinic practice. Every Radiologist has held many leadership roles
in hospitals and clinics in Oshawa,
Whitby,
Bowmanville, Uxbridge, Toronto (St. Michael's, York-Finch and
Humber River Regional Hospitals).
