Changes to Clinic during COVID-19 - updated June 10, 2022
Masking policy to remain
Recently, Ontario issued a statement indicating that most masking requirements will be lifted on June 11, 2022. While masking requirements in some locations are expiring, organizations may implement their own policies. Glazier Medical Centre, along with many other health facilities will maintain masking requirements and screening for patients, visitors and health care workers for the foreseeable future. Glazier Medical Centre provides services and care to hundreds of individuals, many of whom are at an increased risk of severe illness if they become infected with COVID-19 and therefore we are taking this extra preventative step in an effort to provide protection and comfort to the individuals seeking care. Screening for symptoms and exposure will also remain in place.
We thank all patients and visitors for their cooperation and understanding as we continue to take every possible step to minimize the risk of transmission within our facility.
Please be kind and patient.
Zero Tolerance Statement
We operate a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards abuse of Glazier Medical staff and physicians. Our staff and physicians come to work to care for others, not to become victims of violence, threatening behaviour, physical or verbal abuse or discrimination. Anyone attending or calling the Clinic who is abusive, will be banned from the premises.
