Dr. Ahmed Vaid, Family Practice

Glazier Medical Centre is pleased to announce that Dr. Ahmed Vaid,  General Practitioner  will be joining the Centre effective  November 5, 2014.  His new office will be located in the Lower Level, Area G.  

Dr Vaid is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and completed his medical training at University College, Dublin Ireland.  He has been practising medicine in Newfoundland in the past few years and is relocating to the Oshawa Area.

Dr. Helen Wong, Pediatrician

Glazier Medical Centre is pleased to announce that Dr. Helen Wong, Pediatrician, joined the Centre effective September 22, 2014.  Her new office is located on the main floor, Area J.  

Dr Wong has been a member of the pediatric teams at both Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Markham Stoufville Hopsitals since 2010.  She is a graduate of Queen's University completed her training at the University of British Columbia. 

Dr. Wong welcomes all General Pediatric Consultations.  Referrals can be made to her office via fax at 905-579-7290.

The Centre has recently made some changes to its phone system.  

Our main line is 905-579-1212.  If you know your physicians extension, you can dial it immediately.  A list of extensions can be found on our website, at the information booth at the Centre and in all the waiting rooms.

If you wish to make an appointment please call 905-579-1212 ext 521 and an operator will be able to assist you. Please be advised that when you call in for an appointment, you will be placed in the queue.   Although our friendly and knowledgeable co-ordinators do their best to schedule appointments quickly, certain times tend to be busier and thus a small waiting period may be necessary.  Please note that Monday mornings and lunch times are our busiest times and the wait may be longer during these peak hours.
